When is the best time to visit New Zealand?

Most visitors travel between September & April however anytime of the year is fine as all seasons offer a diverse landscape

What's the climate like? What clothes should I take?

Summer months are December through February, Winter is June through August. Temperature difference between Summer & Winter is 10C) with the South Island being cooler

Does the train system have different classes?

No. It is one class only.

Can you obtain accommodation on the ski fields?

No. Accommodation is generally 15-20 minutes away by car.

What are road conditions like?

Very good. But like most places around the world, you have to drive according to conditions.

How long do you recommend to see the best of New Zealand?

Minimum 19 days.

Which island do you consider "The Best"?

Both have their own unique aspects:

• North Island: Bay of Islands, Thermal of Rotorua and Taupo.
• South Island: Fiordland Region, Glaciers & Marlborough Sounds.
