Booking Conditions

RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT

A deposit of $100 per person is required when making a booking. The balance of payment is required 45 days prior to departure from Australia. Should a reservation be made within 45 days of departure, the balance of payment is required immediately.

LATE BOOKING FEE

For bookings made within 10 days, full payment is to be made at the time of reservation. Additionally, a charge of $30 per file will be made to cover urgent communication costs and courier fees.

INSURANCE

Insurance cover is available at the time of booking and we strongly recommend that you take cover against contingencies.

HEALTH AND FITNESS FOR TRAVEL

The tour member or passenger warrants to Tick-It Pacific Tours that they are reasonably healthy and fit to travel and indemnifies Tick-It Pacific Tours from all actions and claims should their health cause a problem on the tour. Tick-It Pacific Tours reserves the right to terminate passengers tours should they deem the passenger is unfit to continue the tour.

AMENDMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS

Amendment to confirmed reservations will incur a fee of $50 per file to cover the increased communication costs. Confirmed bookings cancelled at least 45 days prior to departure will incur a $200 per person cancellation fee. Between 45 and 20 days prior to departure, the cancellation fee is 80% of the booking value. Any cancellation received within 20 days of departure, or on or after the date of commencement of the booked service, will incur fees equivalent to 100% of the amount paid for that service. However, unused open-dated Accommodation Vouchers beyond the minimum purchase will be refunded. A $20 handling fee per file will be charged. Refund applications must be made through your Travel Agent within 10 days of your return to Australia.

BROCHURE VALIDITY AND PRICING

The programmes in this brochure are intended to operate between 20 September 2005 and 31 August 2007, but may be subject to changes in price or substance caused by currency changes or circumstances beyond our control.

SUBSTITUTION OF SERVICES

Goods and Services featured in this brochure may not always be available, and in such cases will be substituted by other goods and services of similar quality and standard.

AIRLINE OBLIGATIONS

Air New Zealand or any airline may be used in conjunction with these programmes. The involvement of such airline is as carrier only, and shall not be responsible for statements or literature relating to the tours or features. The endorsement of this brochure by an airline does not represent any contract or legal relationship by this airline with purchasers of items in this brochure.

RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY

The publishers of this programme of Tick-It Pacific Tours and their representatives, advise that the services rendered are the booking and packaging of goods and services provided by other operators, such as hotels and transportation companies. Accordingly, they will not be responsible and do exclude liability for loss or damage caused by any act or omission of the providers of such goods and services. The payment of a deposit by an intending customer warrants that the customer is in reasonable health and fitness for the required goods and services, and will indemnify the operators from all claims and demands arising out of any want of health and fitness.
