Experience the regions spectacular geothermal activity on Rotorua’s hottest new day tour, amidst a wonderland of gushing geysers, boiling mud pools, hissing fumeroles, colourful volcanic craters and silica terraces at Waiotapu Thermal Wonderland. Then travel to Waimangu Volcanic Valley for a café lunch and a walk amidst a stunning volcanic landscape of hot crater lakes, steaming cliffs, boiling hot springs, colourful sinter terraces, a boat cruise on the scenic Rotomahana Crater Lake and a soothing bathe at the Waikite Valley natural thermal hot pools.

Experience the amazing geothermal activity, Lady Knox Geyser, NZ’s largest boiling mud lake and the colours of every tint and hue displayed in steaming pools, volcanic craters, fumeroles and silica terraces at Waiotapu Thermal Wonderland.
Then enjoy the Waimangu Volcanic Valley nature walk amidst a stunning volcanic landscape with spectacular views of hot crater lakes, steaming cliffs, hissing fumeroles, colourful silica terraces, rare thermally adapted plants and the opportunity to see some of NZ’s native birdlife.
